Suuapinga is Munich’s neighborhood-grown specialty coffee and bakery built by friends Peter, Emanuel, and Lucas. After years behind café bars during their studies, they set out in 2019 to help shift the city’s Italian-leaning coffee culture toward lighter roasts and open craft. The name reaches back to 782—the earliest recorded name for Schwabing—so the brand is literally rooted in its home turf and the daily rituals of the neighborhood. Beans are 100% Arabica and roasted in Bavaria, sourced directly or via trusted partners, then brewed with precision across a growing set of cafés around the city.
