Beata Modrzyńska

Poland

aporeei is the brainchild of Beata Modrzyńska, a HEAD-Genève graduate who approaches fashion as a living experiment—part collage, part conversation, always in flux. Based in Poland, aporeei’s garments are seasonless, nurturing, and deeply playful, shaped by a fascination with “the hole”—a motif that reveals, disrupts, and invites new ways of seeing both body and clothing. Each piece is a fragment, a dialogue between tradition and anti-fashion, humble fabrics and elaborate techniques, assembled into silhouettes that resist easy reference. Beata’s practice is rooted in joy and critical curiosity: she upcycles, engineers, and distorts, working closely with skilled dressmakers to finish garments with unexpected openings and curves. Every collection is crafted in small batches from reclaimed or ecological materials, each stitch a gentle resistance to waste and mass production. For aporeei, fashion is not about chasing novelty for its own sake—it’s about finding meaning and play in the fragments, and inviting wearers into a more nuanced, caring relationship with what they put on.
