Natalya Goldbach

Basel, Switzerland

Little Furniture Assemblage (L.F.A.) is a Basel-based independent brand where playful design meets serious craft and sustainability. Founded in 2019 by Natalya Goldbach, L.F.A. is a small team of artisans creating innovative, delightfully unconventional jewellery, accessories, and objects—each one a “little treasure” made from recycled and reclaimed materials. Natalya shapes every ceramic and crochet piece herself, while collaborating closely with local experts: José, a seasoned tailor who transforms luxury deadstock leather from Spain and Germany into bags and belts, and Paco, a young goldsmith who handcrafts jewellery from recycled silver and aluminium, even engineering custom tools for the studio. The L.F.A. ethos is zero waste and local-first. Silver is sourced from a Basel recycling plant, aluminium is collected from the team’s own consumption, and brass is used only as offcuts. Gold and silver plating have been discontinued to minimize environmental impact. For signature leather straps, L.F.A. partners with a quirky Italian family business willing to sew in micro-batches, and every design is tested, refined, and produced in small quantities to ensure originality and quality. Packaging is as considered as the products: recycled, unbleached cardboard, no plastic, no frills, and a custom blind-embossed logo pressed with a tool built from scrap metal. For L.F.A., good things truly take time—each object is a blend of human hands, local ingenuity, and a commitment to beauty with a conscience.
