Made to last

Timothy Wetsteijn

Rotterdam, the Netherlands

Bill Ringa began in Rotterdam in 2017 with a simple idea: to create footwear that quietly bridges the worlds of home and street, design and emotion. Founder Timothy Wetsteijn left a career in finance consulting to pursue a slower, more intentional approach—crafting shoes that connect the tactile with the thoughtful. Every pair is shaped by a refined eye: minimalist, yet full of presence, with raw edges and subtle contrasts that invite you to notice the details. At Bill Ringa, design is a dialogue. The curve of the felt, the pull of the tab, the way a sole meets the ground –each element is part of a quiet exchange between material and movement. These shoes evolve with you, offering subtle pleasures and comfort that reveal themselves through everyday life. Responsibility is at the core of Bill Ringa’s process. All suppliers are carefully selected within Europe, and every material—wool felt, rubber, leather—is chosen for durability, feel, and integrity. Production is conscious and close, with a focus on lasting quality over quantity. Bill Ringa isn’t about more—it’s about meaning: contemporary restraint, thoughtful design, and the calm confidence of something built to last.
