Korosho is “the cashew company”, rethinking how cashews make it to your table. Founded by Christoph Heumos with brothers Oliver and Alexander Pagel, the brand anchors its supply in Tanzania’s Makonde Plateau, where cashew trees have been part of smallholder life for generations. “Korosho” is Swahili for cashew—fitting for a model that buys directly from farming families, opens the nuts locally with partner organizations, then ships by sea straight to Europe. Back in Germany, korosho finishes and packs everything, including a fully recyclable, paper-based snack pack that’s 100% plastic-free. The result is honest, made-to-last pantry staples for people who want great taste and a cleaner route from tree to shelf.
